What to Expect When You Visit
We understand that as friendly as most churches hope to be, it can still be a little intimidating visiting a church for the first time. Will everyone know what’s going on but me? How should I dress? Will they ask me for money? Let us take as much of the guess-work out of the equation so your first visit is filled with expectation and comfort as we worship the Lord together.
Most at Plymouth church dress casually, but no one is concerned about anything other than your being here. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
The service begins at 10:30am, so arrive about 5-10 minutes ahead of time to give yourself time to settle in or to grab a cup of coffee in the cafe.
Dive in! If you have children in school, encourage them to join our students and make new friends. Join us on a Wednesday night to get to know a few more friends on a deeper level. If you would like to know more about a relationship with Jesus we invite you to have a meal with one of our pastors, join a group (the Wednesday night Apprentice's is a great choice), and we will join you on your journey.
DIVE IN!
We are not meant to walk this journey alone. That is why we believe it is so important to be involved in the life of the church. As are church, we are here to do life together and be there for each other through the good and bad, the mountains and the valleys. You will have a community that will support you, pray for you, be there when you need help, and that will be life-long friends with you and your family.
Gathering on Sunday mornings to worship is the one time when everyone is together. But there is more beyond that! We invite you to get involved in a small group and find a place to serve. If the next step in your faith is being baptized and publicly declaring that Jesus is Lord of you life, we can walk you through that. Whatever your next step is, we are here with you.
